Ginny Livingston Laughlin, M.F.A., Principal
With professionalism and passion, Ginny guides clients in developing a visual communications program that helps their businesses grow and succeed. Her experienced approach identifies the path to success via their visual identity in print and on the web. She has earned the reputation of providing exceptional quality and outcomes through her design and technical skills.
Ginny has been an art director at two record companies, two marketing firms, two clothing catalogs, and a university, and has been fortunate to gain a great deal of experience in marketing products and services to businesses. Her experience includes staff positions at Patagonia, Elektra/Asylum Records, Motown Records, and Sonoma State University, and as a partner in Graphite Studios. Ginny did her undergraduate study at Art Center College of Design, and holds a master of fine arts degree from CSU Los Angeles.
Ginny has diverse teaching and service experience. For six years, she was an instructor in communication design at the Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, for a year at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, for six years at CSU Northridge, and she has been a guest lecturer at Art Center College of Design. She was a voting member of the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences (Grammy Awards) for 10 years.
